Who are English B'Yachad volunteers?

The majority of English B’Yachad volunteer tutors are retired Jewish professionals. Some are seasoned professionals who are still working. Most of our volunteers reside in the United States and Canada.

 

Since volunteers work remotely, they can reside anywhere.

Our volunteers have worked in fields such as business,  healthcare, law, education, and the arts. This rich professional diversity allows us to thoughtfully pair mentors with students. Our students also bring varying backgrounds and needs to the program. 

No. Such skills are not required. However, if you do have these skills, there are students who will benefit from your knowledge and experience.
